SNAP* is a series of meet & greet and shootout studio events dedicated to giving exposure to ALL talent, hobby to professional. You can mingle, shoot, and share your ideas with each other! We welcome all levels of experience to join our monthly event set in a fun atmosphere. There's so much going on at SNAP* that it is entirely too much to explain... it's definitely something you need to check out for yourself!

SNAP* is held at various locations so you always get fresh sets from new places. Every month SNAP contains: - Featured Models, Collaborative Photographers, Makeup Artists, Stylists and Designers giving them maximum exposure and offering you a chance to book and shoot with them. - Free shooting stations for FUN with dozens of models and photographers utilizing the space: - Various forms of entertainment which include, demonstrations, contests, games, prizes and runway shows. At SNAP events, various DJs spin: top pop, trip-hop, downtempo, ambient electronica and other related genres. Check out our upcoming events!

WHAT IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF SNAP*
SNAP* was created by Tarilyn Quinn as a SOCIAL NETWORKING for ARTISTS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, MODELS, DESIGNERS & STYLISTS. It's shortened version is SNAP* or sometimes referred to as SNAPM. SNAPM (SNAP'M) is the shortened version of the website and is often used when labeling website related content.

WHAT IS ALSO INCLUDED IN THE SNAP* EVENT?
- Free photo studio setups for any models and photographers to utilize for the night.
- Social tables for all attendees to sit and share their portfolio materials. - Runway shows from wardrobe stylists.
- Featured Models and Photographers invited to share their work, book future gigs with you and take pictures all night long.
- Featured MUAS who will do makeup for your photos.
- Contests, Prizes and Giveways
- Model and Photographer Auctions
- Live displays, light music and a great atmosphere.
- FREE for features, Official SNAPMUP.com models and gueslisted patrons.

HOW DOES SNAP* BENEFIT MODELS?
Models can expand their portfolio books by receiving photographs during our FREE photo sessions. SNAP*has studio setup stations that anyone can jump into. The photographer then releases the photographs in the coming weeks, in which the models can use those images in their portfolio books. SNAP* will always have at least 1 dedicated event photographer that will release images of every model who shoots. Models may also bring their portolfio books to show to other models and photographers.

HOW DOES SNAP* BENEFIT PHOTOGRAPHERS?
SNAP’M will always invite featured models and runway models to shoot on our FREE photo studio stations (complete with seamless white background paper and optical strobe lights). Any photographer who attends the night has a chance to shoot with the featured models and add those images to their portfolio. SNAP’M asks that every photographer release images to the public gallery by submitting them through snapmup.com Photographers may also bring their portfolio books to share with other photographers and models.

HOW DOES SNAP* BENEFIT ARTISTS?
MAKE UP ARTISTS and HAIRSTYLEISTS are a commodity in the modeling industry. It is encouraged for MUAs and Hairstylists to bring their portfolio books to show models and photographers. Photographers also look for BODYPAINTERS who are welcomed to attend and share their portfolio books as well. MUAS and Hairstylists are always needed to help with the featured model styling for each SNAP’M event. If you would like to participate, please email talent@tarilynquinn.com

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS, DIGITAL MANIPULATORS and PHOTO RETOUCHERS are strongly encouraged to show their work off. Photographers and models are always looking to enhance their images with the help of these artists.


THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VIP EVENTS AND THE SNAP* PARTIES

VIP: This is a group shoot for Fashion or Theme. No one shoots over each others shoulder. Models and photographers rotate between each other. Usually about up to 50 people are involved, hence why it is VIP. After the shoot, you upload your images to the website for the models to download and/or mail the models directly. Everyone has new images for their ports!

PARTY: SNAP* throws a gathering at various studios and locations in a fun atmosphere with a live DJ. About 100-300 people attend each time and mingle. Both models and photographers shoot on our free stations. Then, the images are uploaded to the website for the models to download. The shoot on the stations is more of a paparazzi type as to encourage photographers to attend the VIP shoots for more stylistic images. It is only $10 to attend and a lot of fun. SNAP* holds various stage acts, demonstrations, contests and prizes at the parties. We offer a lot at SNAP* meet and greets!

NOTE: Continuous Lighting is available on our free-for-all stations during our party events. SNAP* does not recommend bringing any lighting equipment you need to plug into outlets during the party. SNAP* DOES recommend bringing any ON-CAMERA lighting you may have.
